Dr. Eshita Biswas is a distinguished Bangladeshi physician, medical educator, and researcher with nearly two decades of clinical experience in internal medicine. She currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Dhaka National Medical College Hospital.
Dr. Biswas earned her MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College in 2006 and obtained her FCPS in Medicine from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in 2015. Over her distinguished career, she has clinical experience across several of Bangladesh’s premier medical institutions, including Dhaka Medical College Hospital and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
A prolific researcher, Dr. Biswas has authored 21 scientific articles, with specialized research interests spanning noncommunicable diseases, infectious diseases, and antimicrobial resistance. Beyond general medicine, she is deeply committed to sports medicine and injury prevention; in 2023, she served as an official team physician for the Bangladesh Olympic Association at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
Dr. Biswas is a Fellow of the BCPS, a Member of the American College of Physicians (MACP), and a life member of both the Bangladesh Society of Medicine and the Association of Physicians of Bangladesh. Alongside her medical practice, she is a passionate grassroots community health advocate and an accomplished classical dancer and musician.

Her areas of interest include noncommunicable diseases, infectious diseases, sports medicine, environmental health, and injury prevention.
In 2023, she represented the Bangladesh Olympic Association as an official team physician at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou. Dr. Biswas is also an active researcher with numerous scientific publications and a dedicated advocate for community health, education, and cultural activities.
