About the Organization
Established in 2023, the Centre for Social Research (CSR) is an interdisciplinary research powerhouse dedicated to exploring the profound relationship between Science, Technology, and Society (STS). We operate at the intersection where the rigorous laws of the Natural and Physical Sciences meet the complexities of human civilization.
We believe that the social, financial and environmental crises of our time are deeply interconnected. To solve them, we must “dig deep” into the root causes by engaging specialized researchers from diverse scientific and social backgrounds. CSR is not merely a think-tank; it is a movement to foster Organic Intellectuals—thinkers who are grounded in their communities and equipped with an analytical mind to lead an equitable, knowledge-based transformation.

Our Philosophical Foundation
The Philosophy of Natural and Physical Sciences
At CSR, we ground our inquiry in the Philosophy of Science. We believe that the laws of the physical world (Physics, Chemistry, and Earth Sciences) and the biological world (Natural Sciences) provide the objective framework through which we must understand society.
- Empiricism over Dogma: We believe that truth is discovered through observation, experimentation, and logical deduction.
- The Unity of Knowledge: We reject the artificial divide between the “hard sciences” and the “social sciences.” Social dynamics are influenced by physical realities—from energy cycles to biological evolution—and understanding this unity is essential for societal progress.
2. Developing a Scientific Society
The core of our philosophy is the eradication of superstition and ignorance. We firmly believe that:
- Scientism as Rationalism: By promoting a scientific temperament, we can replace dogmatic beliefs with an analytical mind.
- Logical Literacy: A society that understands the philosophy of physical laws is a society that cannot be easily manipulated. We aim to democratize this “analytical mind” to create a more resilient and reasoned public.

Technological development, including the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI), is indispensable for human evolution. We view technology as the bridge between scientific discovery and social equity.
