Centre for Social Research-CSR
What distinguishes CSR is steadfast commitment to the people, the planet, and the power of transformative narratives, grounded in both scientific rigor and ethnographic rootedness. We don’t observe communities from a distance—we immerse ourselves in their daily lives, our team of Organic Intellectuals working with the people, for the people in remote villages and marginalized neighborhoods to uncover the hidden inequalities embedded in our economic systems, labor markets, education, healthcare access, and digital landscapes. We champion the rights of marginalized workers in the informal labor market, including those trapped in the gig economy, fighting for dignity and justice while specifically addressing how the digital divide in the era of Artificial Intelligence is deepening inequalities and undermining workers’ rights. By exposing the false narratives that normalize precarious employment and technological exclusion, we advocate for both workers’ rights and economic justice. We honor people’s knowledge and grassroots wisdom as profoundly as we embrace scientific innovation, recognizing that community-based understanding holds vital keys to sustainability, health, and consciousness. Guided by the principles of agroecology, we promote food systems and lifestyles that heal both the earth and our bodies, ensuring harmony between humans, animals, plants, and all living beings. CSR serves as a dynamic bridge connecting people’s knowledge with global solutions, grassroots wisdom with technological advancement, ethnographic depth with scientific excellence, and collective consciousness with progressive action—cultivating a regenerative, equitable, and sustainable future where people, nature, knowledge, health, and empowered consciousness thrive as one.
