EEenin Tazrian is an Anthropologist and Qualitative Researcher with a Master’s degree from Jahangirnagar University, where she secured 3rd position in her cohort. She has extensive field experience working with prominent organizations like the Population Council and the Centre for Social Research (CSR). Her expertise lies in conducting in-depth interviews (IDI), focus group discussions (FGD), and ethnographic observations on topics ranging from climate change and indigenous rights to public health and urban culture.
A merit-based scholar and award-winning researcher, Eenin is dedicated to exploring the complex social dynamics of transformed landscapes and marginalized communities.
An accomplished Anthropologist and merit scholar, Eenin Tazrian specializes in qualitative data collection and social research. With a CGPA of 3.71 in her Master’s of Anthropology, she has contributed to significant studies on gender-based violence, rural neoliberal discourse, and humanitarian education in the Rohingya refugee camps.
Beyond her research, she is a former Organizing Secretary of the Jahangirnagar University Debating Society and an IDRA-certified insurance professional.
Biography
I am an Anthropologist driven by a deep curiosity about human social relations and the spatial intersections of culture. My academic journey at Jahangirnagar University allowed me to explore the multidimensional impacts of climate change on indigenous lives and the evolution of urban restaurant culture. In my professional work as a Research Assistant, I bridge the gap between field data and analytical reporting to advocate for inclusive development. When I’m not in the field, I enjoy hiking, photography, and gardening.
