Tulshi Kumar Das is a former Dean of the School of Social Sciences and former Head of the Department of Social Work at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Bangladesh. He earned his Ph.D. (2001) and M.Phil. (1997) in Sociology from the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, under the ICCR Scholarship Programme of the Government of India.
He completed his M.S.S. (1988) and B.A. (Honours) (1987) in Social Work from the University of Rajshahi, achieving First Class First positions, winning a University Award and Gold Medal, and placing first in the entire Faculty of Social Sciences

Professor Tulshi Kumar Das is a former Dean of the School of Social Sciences and former Head of the Department of Social Work at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Bangladesh. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and earned First Class First degrees in Social Work from the University of Rajshahi, receiving a Gold Medal for academic excellence.
